What is the Talent Search?
Duke TIP is a nonprofit organization devoted to meeting the academic and social needs of gifted students. Our 4th–6th Grade Talent Search is the entry point for TIP benefits that can motivate gifted students to realize their full potential. The program is open only to fourth, fifth, or sixth grade studentswho achieve a qualifying score. While most of our participants are referred to us through their schools, qualified students who are homeschooled or who attend non-participating schools are also welcome and can enroll directly through this website. To enroll directly, your child must have achieved a 95% or better score on a standardized grade-level test. Qualifying tests vary by state. Start the enrollment process at https://tip.duke.edu/node/244 to learn more.
